Parallel Parking Disaster

I think a lot of people question the need for parallel parking to be included in the driving test, as it’s “something they will never need to do” yet at the same time, despite having to carry it out to pass the test, when we come back to real life people are terrible at it.

It is one of the best known problems with women’s driving, and a good percentage of women will happily admit to being either scared of or really, really bad at. The clip above shows the latter option demonstrated to perfection – just take a look. The adolescent sniggering by whoever is filming it just makes you want to laugh more…

Another great compilation of photos combined and set to music in a Youtube video of the various mishaps befalling the intepid woman driver. Funny to watch and what’s particularly interesting is how nearly none of the cars featured in the video are the right way up any more!

BIG Puddle!

It seems like poor decision making by lady drivers is not limited by nationality, as we can clearly see here in this great news clip from Budapest, Hungary.

So there’s been a flood. There’s water all around, and there’s no way of telling how deep it is. Luckily this woman found a solution to discovering the depth of the water, by driving her car straight into it, much to the amusement of the watching crowd. Maybe she thought she had a James Bond style underwater car, who knows?

To add insult to injury, she then decides that, despite the fact that the car managed to sink into this huge waterhole, that she would still be able to walk across it, seems like the concept that the water might be rather deep still has not entered her mind, even though she’s just watched her car sink.

Advertisers Revenge!

The ‘Woman Driver’ cliche (and men’s opinions of it) is so well known that it can be turned on its head, as has happened with this video.

The British advertisers for the new Mazda 2 have clearly aimed this particular advert directly at women and cleverly got on the side of the target audience, showing just how well women can actually park and have also come up with a pretty nifty stunt to illustrate the point,they have even managed to add a sense of humour too, well worth taking a look below.

(We don’t know if the actual stunt driver for the commercial was a woman, but we hope so!)
